Glad you're enjoying it, and those teapots are great! However, when I was in Gaziantep, where everyone drinks Chinese and Indian tea smuggled across the Syrian border, I realized that Turkish-grown tea is really not my favorite. I think most Turks would drink foreign tea if the extremely high import duties didn't make it unaffordable. So I think you can brew whatever tea you want and still be true to the tradition.
